International Christian Educator Conference—Asia

ACSI invites you to join the International Christian Educator Conference (ICEC) at the International Christian School in Hong Kong. This conference provides a focused time of professional development, networking, and fellowship for international school educators. Join us to be challenged and inspired by keynote speakers, preconference courses, workshops, and job alike sessions.

Registration will open the first of March.

Conference Theme: Teaching with Wisdom

He is the one we proclaim, admonishing, and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ (Colossians 1:28).

Conference Keynote Speakers

AXIS.org Team: The mission of AXIS is to empower the next generation to think clearly and critically about what they believe and to take ownership of their faith. 

Cynthia Tobias: Cynthia is a popular speaker and author whose insights, humor, and practical strategies have encouraged and motivated educators, parents, business people, and students to focus on strengths to achieve sucess.  

Mike Potter: Mike is the head of school at Tyndale Christian School located in Adelaide, Australia and the author of We Have a Voice.  

Stewart Stemple, The Central Group, Exective Vice President, International Human Resources, Executive Recruitment and Development: Stewart is an MK who graduated from Dalat International School in Malaysia and has gone on to be a successful and dynamic leader in the business world, which he views as his ministry. His passion is inspiring people to grow in all areas of their life and working with companies to create a culture where people can perform at their very best.

Member Full Conference Registration
Early rate: $300 per person until June 30, 2016
Standard rate: $325 per person, July 1, 2016 to October 24, 2016

Nonmember Full Conference Registration
Early rate: $400 per person until June 30, 2016
Standard rate: $425 per person, July 1, 2016 to October 24, 2016

Day Rate-this rate is available to purchase for a single conference day
Member school rate: $125 for 1 day, $250 for 2 days
Nonmember school rate: $175 for 1 day, $350 for 2 days

Preconference ONLY: starting at $55—cost of the preconference course, includes breakfast, lunch, and snack

Conference price includes meals and snacks at the conference site-breakfast and lunch for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, two snack breaks on Thursday and Friday, and one snack break on Saturday. Price does not include airfare, hotel, evening dinners, airport transportation to and from the hotel, public transportation to and from the conference or preconference courses.

Conference Schedule

ICEC will begin on Wednesday 23 November 2016 with a series of optional preconference courses from 9:00 AM to 16:00 PM. The full conference will begin at 8:00 AM on Thursday 24 November ending at 16:00 PM on Saturday 26 November 2016.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Conference registration fees will be refunded, less the following fees:
1. Cancellations prior to September 1 will receive a full refund.
2. Cancellations prior to October 31 will be charged 25% of the registration price paid.
3. There will be no registration reimbursement after October 31.

Child Safety Protection Network

The Child Safety Protection Network ITT (CSPN) is a three-day event offering intensive training for how to respond to child abuse reports according to CSPN Best Practice Standards. Agencies and schools sending representatives should be a member of the CSPN and are advised to send 2–4 people to the same ITT event.
